"This project found me at the perfect time. I spent my 20's chasing the music dream with an original/cover band, Random Wood, that toured the Southeast for basically any gig we could get. My influences at the time ranged from Pearl Jam to Van Morrison to Otis Redding. Having shared the stage and common venues with incredible, Atlanta-based musicians like Brian Collins, Alex Jacobs, and Robby Wilson to name a few, the time came to forge a different path. I kept the dream alive, writing songs and making guest appearances as time allowed. After a work-based, Battle of the Bands event, John Presti approached me asking, "What do you think about INXS?" I instantly connected with the music - it was a perfect fit.
INXS brings a palpable mix of high energy, innovative composition, variety, and hit after hit. The audience reaction drives me, and I'm blown away by the passion INXS' music draws out when done well. Michael Hutchence was beyond a masterful performer, and as a band, INXS was easily one of the greatest live acts ever. Our pursuit is to bring that energy and precision to the highest degree - every note, every song, every show."
Tony plays Ibanez and Gibson guitars.
I grew up in Buffalo where it's the law that you have to eat chicken wings, play hockey, and listen to Rush. In the 80's INXS was all over the place with their unique sound - punchy, smooth, and spikey. There was really nothing like it and years later the music still holds up.
I was one of the founders of the band Worldwide Groove in the 90's playing shows all over the place and releasing to original CD's of jazz rock Santana style.
We put together New Sensation to now deliver to today's audience the INXS experience the way we knew it. The tribute band circuit has all sorts of great acts going on but nobody was doing justice to INXS. We wanted to bring to the audiences the authentic INXS show with all the right quirks that come with it.

A native of Marietta, and a longtime veteran of the Atlanta music scene, multi-instrumentalist Andrew Doss has played in a variety of genres from blues to rock to synthpop. He has also performed in a diverse collection of tribute bands, most notably, Devomatix, a Devo tribute band that has played numerous times around the country, and even performed with Devo founding member Gerry Casale.
As a child of the 80s, however, his favorite style of music to play is typified by INXS. "I'll never forget seeing the video for 'I Send A Message', and being captivated by the visuals, and amazed by the funky sound being created by this band with the strange name! After I purchased The Swing album, I was hooked."
"I've always admired Andrew Farriss, not only for his ability to write amazing, deceptively simple pop songs, but also for his musicianship. He crafts keyboard parts that aren't showy, but perfectly serve the song, and that's what good music is all about."
"I grew up in Boca Raton, Florida, started playing drums at age 12 and have never stopped. I recorded four original albums with my band TWEED, and we showcased for BMG/Universal and Sony record labels in the 2000's.
Laying down a great groove it what's it's all about. INXS hit me hard when I heard "Shabooh Shoobah" in 1982; I first saw them live during The Swing tour when they opened for the Go-Go's! A few years later I caught them headlining their KICK tour and they were fantastic! I remember one of the last tunes they played was "Red Red Sun" and Jon Farriss tore that tune up! I've always admired how he incorporates electronics and loops along with his acoustic kit to really drive their live sound, and I've tried to do that in our band as well, so I can do him justice."
John plays SONOR and Alesis drums and pads, Paiste cymbals, DW pedals, and Vic Firth sticks.

"It's all about the sound ~ it's creating music that takes the listener to another place. It's a mixture of sophisticated soul, R&B, smooth-jazz, and chill, to create just the right atmosphere for any occasion someone is looking for that added 'something' for their event or establishment to be remembered by..."
And that's just what Chicago-born, Atlanta-bred Saxophonist Tom Regeski delivers with New Sensation.
Eric Sands, an official endorser of Ibanez guitars since 1998 has shared the stage with Steve Vai, recorded five original music CDs for Lion Music, Prog Rock Records and Ten Tornado Records. He has appeared on several nationally released recordings, videos and soundtracks and recorded alongside Adrian Belew (David Bowie) and David Ragsdale (Kansas).
A veteran of the tribute band scene, Eric has played in some of the most well known tribute bands in Atlanta and Los Angeles, including Priest Unleashed (Judas Priest), Outlaws of Love (The Police), Back n Black (AC/DC), Noise Pollution (AC/DC) and now New Sensation. Eric's interest in tribute bands came about from playing guitar and bass on tribute CDs for Jason Becker, Jimi Hendrix, Uli Roth, Ritchie Blackmore and Gary Moore for Lion Music in Europe. Transferring the experience to live music really ignited a passion for the genre.
Eric first became aware of INXS while working in a record store in the 80’s. “Shabooh Shoobah”, “The Swing” and “Listen Like Thieves” were the some of the only records all of the staff could agree on playing in the store without fighting.
“To me, INXS represents all of the great things about being young and living in the 80’s. It was an incredible time in my life, a decade of complete decadence before responsibility fully took hold.”
